Reports linking Milot Rashica with a move to Burnley have been played down by the Norwich City man’s agent while Brondby break their silence on reports linking Mads Hermansen with the to Premier League newcomers.
With a return to the top-flight now secure – Burnley can even break the 100-point barrier on the final day of a gruelling Championship campaign on Monday – focus at Turf Moor will now turn to what is likely to be a very busy summer.
There will be no repeat of Nottingham Forest’s remarkable recruitment drive. But, with a number of Vincent Kompany’s promotion heroes only on loan and therefore facing an uncertain future, replacements for the likes of Ian Maatson, Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Nathan Tella may need to be acquired.

Burnley reportedly want Norwich City’s Milot Rashica
Rashica could potentially step in for the latter. Like the Southampton-owned Tella – Burnley’s top scorer this season – Rashica is a jet-heeled, highly-versatile wide player with an eye for goal.
The one-time Aston Villa target is currently on loan at Galatasaray from Norwich City. Reports in Turkey last week suggested that an £11 million move to Lancashire was on the cards. But Rashica’s agent now suggests these rumours may be wide of the mark.
“Milot Rashica has become the indispensable name in the (Galatasaray) XI. Milot Rashica is very happy to be in Galatasaray and in Turkey,” Aykut Ercetin explains.
“Rashica’s heart (is telling him) to stay in Galatasaray.”
Burnley are reportedly hoping to bring in a new ‘number one’ too. Kamil Grabara and Bart Verbruggen are two options. The Daily Mail add that Kompany watched 22-year-old Hermansen in the flesh for Danish giants Brondby.
A very modern, technically-capable goalkeeper; Hermansen would tick plenty of boxes for a coach in Kompany who honed his possession-based principles at Manchester City.
And, when asked about Burnley’s interest, Brondby director Carsten Jensen admitted that he could not rule out a summer sale.
“It could well happen,” Jensen tells 3Point. “I won’t deny that. But I can’t guarantee anything.”
