Tottenham Hotspur have been long-term admirers of the Inter Milan ace, according to reports.

Long-term Tottenham target Marcelo Brozovic’s agent spoke exclusively to Italian media outlet Calcio Mercato, and admitted that his client’s future could lie away from Inter Milan.
According to Italian media outlet Tutto Mercato Web, Spurs have held an interest in signing the Croatian midfielder since December last year, and their need for the Inter ace might just take on greater importance over the coming weeks, with Mousa Dembele’s future in north London uncertain to say the least.

The 25-year-old moved to the San Siro from Dinamo Zagreb in January 2015 on an initial loan deal, before making his switch a permanent one in the summer of 2016.
He has gone on to chalk up 18 goals and 19 assists in 112 appearances in all competitions for Inter – a decent return for an orthodox central midfielder, and Tottenham would really benefit from having him amongst their ranks.
Brozovic’s agent spoke exclusively to Italian publication Calcio Mercato, and suggested that his client’s future is still undecided:

“Yes, I can confirm that several great clubs follow Marcelo and they are informed, but I can not name them. Marcelo considers Inter as a home of his own. He likes Milan and is preparing to play the Champions League, but whether or not he will remain dependent on Inter and the market”.
The Croatia international has a €50 million (£43.9 million) release clause into his current deal with Inter, according to Calcio Mercato, and whether Tottenham would be prepared to meet that price remains to be seen.
