Achraf Hakimi’s agent, Alejandro Camano, spoke to Goal about his client’s future beyond the end of this season.
The Turk, who already has nine goals and 10 assists this season, is on the radar of multiple clubs across Europe.
Hakimi, owned by Real Madrid, is into his second season of his two-year loan deal at Borussia Dortmund. The Bundesliga giants would love to keep him there beyond the end of this season but they have some serious competition.
90min claimed recently that Tottenham Hotspur, Chelsea and Manchester City have enquired about the defender’s availability ahead of this summer’s transfer window, while Bladi.net claimed that Arsenal are interested too.
Pep Guardiola’s side are ready to table a £54 million bid for Hakimi this summer according to Cadena Ser. The biggest rumour that has emerged recently is that Bayern Munich are considering a move for Hakimi this summer. (AS)
However, Hakimi’s agent has rubbished any talks with Bayern Munich but admitted that there is a lot of interest from other top clubs.
Camano told Goal: “There is interest from top European clubs, but I don’t know where the rumours with Bayern have come from. It is not a topic. Nobody from Bayern or Real Madrid spoke to me about a possible move for Achraf to Bayern.”

“We are totally relaxed and calm about the future of Achraf. He has a great relationship with Real Madrid and there is currently no reason for any talks because Achraf has a contract with Real Madrid until 2022. We’ll see what happens when he returns to Madrid in the summer.”
Camano also opened the door for Hakimi to stay at Real Madrid next season. He claimed that his client is the best in his position and that Zidane has known him since since ‘he was a child’.
Hakimi still an unrealistic option for Tottenham
Tottenham’s chances of signing Hakimi looks very slim at this point. Spurs will struggle to compete financially with all other interested parties.
Hakimi would certainly learn a lot under someone like Jose Mourinho but the Spurs boss will have to do a lot of convincing, both to Daniel Levy and to the player himself, about joining him this summer.
