Yaya Toure’s agent says his client will take wage cut if his new club, with Burnley, Everton and Wolves reportedly interested, are not happy.

The agent of Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has made a bold claim about his client as he seeks to find him a new club this summer.
Toure will leave the Etihad Stadium after eight years with the reigning Premier League champions and is keen to remain in the top tier of English football.

The Mirror reports that Burnley, Everton and Wolverhampton Wanderers have already shown interest in signing the Ivory Coast international.
It should therefore come as good news to the trio that Toure’s agent, Dimitri Seluk, says the midfield ace will take a wage cut if the club that signs him isn’t happy with his performances.
“Yaya is fit and desperate to prove he’s still the best central midfielder in the Premier League,” Seluk told Sky Sports News.
“Ivory Coast will not be in Russia for the World Cup and next season he will be fit, rested and stronger than ever.
“He’s happy to accept a one-year deal to stay in England. And if his club are not satisfied with his performances, he will pay back half his wages, or the club can cancel his contract immediately, with no compensation.”

Yet whoever takes on Toure would be landing the currently joint highest paid player for the Citizens, with Spotrac claiming the 34-year-old and Sergio Aguero each take home a whopping £220,000-a-week.
Even half of that would probably make the Ivorian among the best, if not the best, paid player at all three of the sides interested in him so whether the deal is financially viable remains to be seen.
