The South African was linked with a move to Elland Road in the summer.
The agent of South Africa international Andile Jali has spoken about the interest from Leeds United in his client in the summer.
It was reported by Voetbal Primeur in the summer that Leeds United were closing in on the signing of the midfielder – who plays his football in Belgium with Oostende.
However, his arrival was reportedly contingent on Leeds selling players first, with Toumani Diagouraga and Luke Murphy two options. Both players stayed and the arrival of Eunan O’Kane from Bournemouth put a final nail in this transfer rumour’s coffin.

Now his agent has been speaking about the interest from Leeds, as the 40-cap South Africa international hopes to secure a move back to South Africa with Orlando Pirates.
Mike Makaab, the 26-year-old’s agent, told Isolezwe in South Africa:
“Leeds United wanted him in June. At the time, they needed someone who plays a similar position as the one that Jali plays because one of their important players was injured, but they never said anything after that.”

Jali has not had the best of 2016-17’s so far. He suffered an early injury and has since gone on to play just 68 minutes of league football for the Belgian side this season.
Leeds on the other hand are flying high with young midfielders Ronaldo Vieira and Kalvin Phillips thriving after getting their first-team opportunities.
Leeds do not appear to have missed out on much.
