Fernando Hildago is in Italy for talks with AC Milan, Inter and Juventus over an immediate transfer for Newcastle target Julian Alvarez of River Plate, according to Calciomercato.
Hildago has jetted into Europe to hold fresh talks with the Serie A trio in a bid to secure his client a move. The agent will speak with each club over the coming days before putting any offers to Alvarez to consider. He is keen to secure a move after a stunning 2021 campaign.
Alvarez topped the Liga Professional scoring charts last year with 18 goals in just 21 games. He also provided seven assists, after lighting the league up after moving in from the wing.

Lionel Scaloni also rewarded the 21-year-old with his senior Argentina debut in June. He has remained in the Albiceleste fold since with four further caps across all competitions.
Alvarez’s sensational turn of form last year has put a number of European clubs on alert to his potential. Bayern Munich and several Premier League clubs are also noted to be keen.
Alvarez can complete an immediate transfer if AC Milan, Inter or Juventus make his agent an attractive bid. The forward has a €20m (£16m) release clause in his River Plate contract.
Newcastle ready to make ‘mega’ bid for Alvarez transfer from River Plate
Newcastle are among the English clubs keen to sign Alvarez, if he leaves River Plate in the January transfer window. Gazzetta dello Sport reported on Monday that the Magpies are also ready to submit a ‘mega offer’ to beat their Serie A rivals to the Argentine talent.

However, the prospect of life on Tyneside has not proven all that appealing for the striker. He wants to join a top European side, and seemingly does not feel the Magpies fit the bill.
United have a raft of alternative strikers on their radar as Eddie Howe looks to add more goals, though. Eddie Nketiah is one, per 90min, after Newcastle opened talks with Arsenal.
