Speaking on the Transfer Window Podcast, Duncan Castles has shared an update on reported Arsenal target Riyad Mahrez and his future at Manchester City.
Mahrez has been linked to Arsenal in recent weeks, and Castles says that there’s every chance the Algerian could be on the move this summer as his agent is actively advertising his services to other clubs.

Castles says that Manchester City may be getting rid of a few players this summer, and Mahrez is one man who could be on the move this summer.
“You have another player in there, Riyad Mahrez, who has two years left on his contract, so City have to make a decision over him. Mahrez’s agent is actively advertising Mahrez and trying to get a transfer proposition for him that Manchester City will agree on,” Castles said.
Arsenal’s chance
If Mahrez’s agent is contacting a number of clubs, then Arsenal should be one side fielding his calls.
The Gunners reportedly want Mahrez, and needless to say, he’d be a fantastic addition to the north London outfit.
Indeed, the winger is one of the trickiest and most talented players in the Premier League, and at Arsenal he’d immediately become one of their best players.
You don’t get the chance to sign a player this talented often, and if Mahrez truly is on the market this summer, Arsenal mustn’t waste this opportunity.
