Leeds United have been linked with Polish youngster Mateusz Bogusz.

Leeds United may not have signed anybody in the first week of the January transfer window, but they have certainly been linked with players of late.
Ibai Gomez, Steven Zuber and a whole host of goalkeepers have been touted for moves to Elland Road, with Marcelo Bielsa no doubt keen on reinforcements.
Another name linked is one for the future though, as Onet in Poland recently claimed that Leeds are battling Brighton and Hove Albion for Ruch Chorzow midfielder Mateusz Bogusz.
The 17-year-old talent has been a regular for Poland across various youth levels, and is already featuring prominently for second tier Ruch Chorzow.
With five goals and one assist in 19 games this season, Bogusz has shown real promise, and Leeds are now seemingly hoping to lure him to Elland Road.
Now, agent Lukasz Maciongowski of the Stellar Group has discussed Bogusz’s future, telling Sport Dziennik that a number of clubs are interested in signing the midfielder.

He noted that there are proposals from teams in Poland, but he wants to head out to Europe to a club that give chances to young players, which may just be perfect for Leeds.
“Mateusz is very interested in European clubs,” said Maciongowski. “Personally, I had the opportunity to talk to each of them. Clubs have presented their ideas for Mateusz’s development in the coming years. Of course, we have many proposals from Poland, but Matthew needs a new challenge and wants to prove himself in Europe, where he has really big opportunities. He should go to a club that gives young boys a chance, and who has a plan to develop Mateusz; prepared to give him the path to the first team. The question is, what league would be appropriate for him? I think that a competitor with high skills, such as Mateusz, can handle each one,” he added.
Intriguingly, Bogusz also ‘liked’ an Instagram post by Leeds yesterday celebrating Izzy Brown’s birthday, suggesting that the teenager is at least keeping tabs on the Whites ahead of a possible move to West Yorkshire.
