The agent of the Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke has denied his client is close to joining Birmingham City on loan.
Clarke has been linked with a move to Birmingham – whose manager Aitor Karanka is a close friend and former colleague of his Tottenham counterpart Jose Mourinho – throughout the summer transfer window.
And The Birmingham Mail last week reported that the Blues were homing in.
But responding to a tweet that was posted at the time, outlining as much, Harte – the former Leeds United and Republic of Ireland left-back – insisted that is not that case.
Tottenham are reported to have paid around £10 million for Clarke during last summer’s transfer window.
But the 19-year-old has yet to appear in a competitive game for Spurs, who loaned him out to two of Birmingham’s then Championship rivals – Leeds, his previous club, and Queens Park Rangers – last season.

Birmingham have already signed two new wingers – Jonathan Leko and Ivan Sanchez – in the summer transfer window.
And the presence of another wide man, Jeremie Bela, means that Clarke is unlikely to walk straight into the Birmingham side should he arrive from Tottenham.
