The Dutch starlet is linked with a move to Tottenham Hotspur.

Tottenham Hotspur’s hopes of signing Frenkie de Jong aren’t dead just yet.
Speculation is rife that Paris Saint-Germain are ‘almost certain’ to sign the Ajax starlet, according to De Telegraaf.
Tottenham have been linked with a move in the past [The Mirror] but according to the 21-year-old’s agent, nothing has been determined with regards to PSG.
“There is no transfer yet, it is not around,” he told NOS in the Netherlands. “Frenkie is guaranteed to stay with Ajax until the summer and I can not say anything about it.”
His agent’s update has given Spurs a lifeline over what would be a club-record transfer, given that the midfield sensation is valued at around £67 million [The Sun].
With Mousa Dembele seemingly headed out of North London next summer, De Jong would be a stunning replacement and Tottenham’s hierarchy need to act fast.
That being said, signing him will be anything but easy, considering that PSG and Manchester City are said to be in the race, but the Lilywhites have the draw of Mauricio Pochettino.
The Argentine has helped the likes of Dele Alli and Harry Kane become some of the world’s best players, and De Jong may well fancy the prospect of working under Pochettino.
He is contracted to the Dutch giants for another three-and-a-half years, meaning they can effectively name their price.
