Roma’s Nicolo Zaniolo has burst onto the scene this season.

The agent of Roma playmaker Nicolo Zaniolo has told Il Romanista that he has received many phone calls about his client and a potential move.
Zaniolo, 19, joined Roma from Inter Milan last summer, heading to the Italian capital as a makeweight in the deal which saw Radja Nainggolan leave Roma for Inter.
Inter certainly couldn’t have predicted Zaniolo’s success this season, as the teenager has hit six goals and two assists this term, becoming a young sensation in Serie A.
Zaniolo already has two caps for Italy off the back of his displays for Roma, and his versatility has made him valuable for club and country, having played a number 10 or even on the wing.
Big and strong at 6ft 3in tall, Zaniolo still has great quality on the ball and impressive athleticism, meaning many are backing him for stardom in the future.
Roma already face a battle to keep hold of the youngster, and Calciomercato.it reported over the weekend that Tottenham want to bring Zaniolo to North London.
Now, agent Claudio Vigorelli has told Il Romanista – as translated by Calciomercato – that he wants a new contract for his client in order to stay at Roma.

Vigorelli added that he has received phone calls from many clubs about Zaniolo’s signature, one of which may well have come from Tottenham, but the current plan seems to be staying at the Stadio Olimpico.
“I can only confirm our willingness to sign with Roma,” said Vigorelli. “I believe, however, that it is clear and understandable to everyone how there is a need to restructure Nicolò’s contract. I don’t think I’m a visionary, saying that compared to 12 months ago the boy’s scenario has changed profoundly.”
“Suffice it to say that for some months now I have been receiving a lot of phone calls from many important clubs, I cannot tell you from whom, who offer their willingness to buy him. Nicolò, however, is concentrated only on Roma and winning that fourth place that is worth the Champions League,” he added.
