The agent of Tottenham Hotspur winger Georges-Kevin Nkoudou has told Football.London that he is focused on Spurs and not thinking about leaving this summer.

Spurs have yet to bring in any new signings this summer in what has been a frustrating period for Mauricio Pochettino, but some Spurs players may see this as an opportunity.

If Pochettino can’t bring in key additions – such as a midfielder, winger and striker – then the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Nkoudou and Fernando Llorente may well believe that they can still turn their Spurs careers around.

Nkoudou may not be Wilfried Zaha or Anthony Martial, but he may well feel that he deserves more of a chance having never started a Premier League game for Spurs since his 2016 move from Marseille.

The 23-year-old started just one competitive game for Spurs last season before being farmed out on loan to Burnley for the second half of the campaign, where he made eight appearances and started twice.

The Frenchman is in danger of becoming a forgotten man in North London, and Football.London report that a number of clubs in England and Europe are keen to sign him this summer, offering him an escape route after two uneventful years with Spurs.

However, agent Meissa N’Diaye has told Football.London that pre-season is going well for Nkoudou, and he isn’t thinking about leaving as he wants to impress on Tottenham’s US tour, having shown promise with Burnley.

“Pre-season is going very well for him back at Tottenham,” said N’Diaye. “He is not thinking about elsewhere. He’s focused on Tottenham and hopefully he will be going on the tour to the USA this month.”

“He did well on loan at Burnley and showed what he can do in the Premier League. He’s looking forward to next season,” he added.
