Leeds United continue to be linked with Boca Juniors ace Nahitan Nandez.

Leeds United have been heavily linked with Boca Juniors ace Nahitan Nandez of late – and his agent has talked up a potential move to Elland Road.
The Whites’ promotion bid took a blow on Saturday with a defeat at Birmingham City, especially as Sheffield United grabbed a win over Preston North End to return to second place.
No matter what division Leeds find themselves in next season, they will be pursuing major reinforcements in the transfer market, and they are already being linked with potential signings.
One name heavily linked is Boca midfielder Nandez, with Tuttomercatoweb recently claiming that Leeds already have an offer on the table to sign him this summer.
Cagliari and Roma are also mentioned as potential suitors for Nandez, who has been impressing for Boca since joining from Penarol back in 2017.
The 23-year-old has been a regular for Boca either centrally or out wide, whilst he also featured prominently for Uruguay at last summer’s World Cup.

His work rate and tenacity would be huge for Bielsa’s style of play, and it seems that Nandez himself is keen on a move to Elland Road this summer.
Nandez’s agent Pablo Bentancur has told El Crack Deportivo back in Argentina that Cagliari are just a side-option at this point, because Nandez wants to play for Bielsa – and he added that he has a good relationship with Andrea Radrizzani and even predecessor Massimo Cellino, meaning a summer move really could happen.
“I prefer to leave it as an alternative option,” said Bentancur. “I spoke with important clubs in Europe, and he told me that he would like to play with Bielsa and it is easy to understand why. I have a relationship with the coach, with the previous president and the current one and it would be a pleasure to be under the orders of Bielsa,” he added.
