Tottenham Hotspur defender Japhet Tanganga could leave the club this summer with a number of clubs interested.
Japhet Tanganga’s agent claims that there is huge interest mounting in the Tottenham Hotspur defender this summer.
Agent Roberto De Fanti has been speaking to Tuttomercatoweb about Tanganga’s future at Tottenham.
De Fanti claims that there is a ‘huge market’ for Tanganga’s signature this summer both in the Premier League and abroad.
De Fanti hailed Tanganga as ‘fast’ and ‘aggressive’, highlighting that AC Milan wanted to sign him last summer.
Tottenham didn’t strike a deal to sell Tanganga and De Fanti now thinks his price will have crashed after a disappointing campaign.
De Fanti feels that the ‘ideal’ move would be to join a Premier League club but they will listen to offers from everywhere – especially Serie A.
“He has a huge market in the Premier League and abroad,” said De Fanti. “He knows how to play 3, 4, 5. He is a modern defender, fast, aggressive, with a strong head. Everyone is aware of the negotiations between Milan and Tottenham last summer for him.”
“Now the market value of him will probably be different from last season making him more attractive in the market. Japhet is also a smart boy. The ideal would be to stay in the Premier League but we will also pay attention to interest from abroad. And from Serie A,” he added.

Japhet Tanganga faces crucial summer
This feels like the transfer window where Tanganga finally sorts out his future.
The 24-year-old has completely stalled at Tottenham and started just two Premier League games this season.
Tanganga came off the bench in just two more, meaning his Premier League minutes total for the season stood at just 147.
That just isn’t good enough for Tanganga and moving on for first-team minutes must be very appealing.
De Fanti seems to think that many clubs are already lining up moves for Tanganga, potentially giving Ange Postecoglou and early decision to make.
Spurs have today appointed Postecoglou as their new manager and he will be looking to weigh up his new squad.
Tanganga is one player who Postecoglou will have to assess; is he worth keeping at Tottenham or is it time to move on?
For all parties, we think the time is right for Tanganga to go and play elsewhere and finally leave Spurs.
