Rangers have been linked with a number of midfielders already this summer, with Steven Gerrard seemingly seeking reinforcements.
Lewis Ferguson, Dejan Ljubicic, Niklas Dorsch and Kristiyan Malinov are just of the names in the mix, with a defensive midfielder seemingly wanted.
Another name in the mix is Bongani Zungu. The Amiens star was first linked last month, with France Football claiming that Rangers are interested.
The Daily Record added last weekend that Rangers have watched Zungu on multiple occasions, and have studied footage of him during lockdown.
The 27-year-old has suffered relegation with Amiens, and may now be available as Gerrard seeks to add a holding midfielder.
Zungu is strong and possesses quality on the ball, and a departure from Amiens looks more likely than ever in news which should delight Rangers.

Agent Alexis Ramalingam has told Kickoff.com in South Africa that talks are underway for Zungu to leave Amiens, with a move now looking likely.
If Rangers do want to sign Zungu, it seems that they will have every chance to do so – and after hearing Ramalingam’s comments, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see them make a move.
