Everton’s Richarlison has been linked with Inter Milan.
Everton forward Richarlison has impressed in his first season at Goodison Park – and he’s unsurprisingly attracting interest this summer.
The Toffees raided Watford to land Richarlison, striking a deal that could rise to £50million (BBC) to reunite the Brazilian with his ex-Hornets boss Marco Silva.
Some were unsure about paying so much for Richarlison, but Everton’s move was justified as he hit 13 goals in 35 Premier League games this past season.
The 22-year-old has been called up to Brazil’s Copa America squad, and he looks set for a huge future – but the vultures are circling.
The Mirror claimed just last week that Atletico Madrid and Paris Saint-Germain are keen to land Richarlison, leaving Everton to worry about losing the talented forward.
Inter have been linked too, as Football Italia reported claims from the print version of Tuttosport that they were willing to offer a deal involving Joao Mario heading to Goodison Park in exchange for Richarlison, plus cash.
Now, Richarlison’s agent Renato Velasco has told Passione Inter that he hasn’t heard of any interest from Inter in the Everton forward, but noted that Everton want at least £100million for Richarlison, meaning a summer move looks unlikely – and they’re happy with that.
“At the moment we are not aware of anything, I have not been contacted by anyone,” said Velasco. “I don’t know if they would be willing to pay what Everton asks for him. They won’t let him go for less than 100/110 million pounds.”
“Of course I feel flattered because Inter is a great club, but I think Everton doesn’t want to sell Richarlison for less than 100 million pounds. Our intention is not to leave the Premier League, although we really like the Italian league. But the adaptation of Richarlison to the Premier was excellent and he is ready to play in any team in the world,” he added.
