Football agent Ibrahim Polat has told ESPN that Tottenham are not held talks over a move for Galatasaray winger Bruma – but Leicester City and Southampton are both keen.

Bruma, 22, has long been touted as a promising wide man from way back to his days with Sporting Lisbon, and he is finally starting to show signs of fulfilling his potential.

After a hot-and-cold opening to his time with Galatasaray following a 2013 move, Bruma – who had been loaned out to Gaziantepspor and Real Sociedad – has hit ten goals and six assists in 25 league appearances this season.

The Portuguese winger, who was born in Guinea-Bissau, will now be hoping to win his first senior international cap off the back of his displays this season, but may feel that he needs a big move to challenge the likes of Nani, Ricardo Quaresma, Bernardo Silva and Gelson Martins.

Bruma has been heavily tipped for a summer move away from Galatasaray, and specifically to England, with Tottenham Hotspur suggested as a possible destination given that Mauricio Pochettino appears to be keen on adding a pacey wide man.

In fact, Galatasaray even had to release a statement on their official website last month denying that an agreement had been reached with Spurs for a summer transfer, contrary to claims from the Turkish press.

Now, Ibrahim Polat – of the Marco Kirdemir agency who represent Bruma – has told ESPN that there are no talks ongoing with Tottenham, though two Premier League rivals are keen.

Polat claims that both Leicester and Southampton have held talks over signing Bruma, with his future expected to be resolved later this month as a move to England seemingly becomes an increasing possibility.

“We are not in talks with Tottenham,” said Polat. “Southampton and Leicester City have registered an interest and we have held talks,” Polat said. “Bruma is keen on the Premier League and we will be holding further talks next month. Everything will become clearer regarding his future in May,” he added.
