Premier League outfit Fulham are interested in Red Bull Bragantino defender Juninho Capixaba, according to the defender’s agent.
The left-back only joined Bragantino from Gremio during the January transfer window. But, after just a few months in the Brazilian branch of Red Bull’s footballing umbrella, a move across the Atlantic appears to be on the cards.
According to Capixaba’s agent, Fulham are keen on the 26-year-old. But they are not the only ones.
“There is interest in my client from many clubs,” Adriano Spadoto tells Euro Futbol Russia. “In addition to CSKA Moscow, Atalanta, Fulham and RB Leipzig, other teams are interested in him.
“Let’s see what happens next.”

Fulham eye Junior Capixaba and sign Timothy Castagne
Capixaba has played 41 games for Red Bull Bragantino this term, scoring three goals and setting up four more from his attack-minded full-back role. At Fulham, Capixaba would provide competition from Antonee Robinson on the left-hand flank. Calvin Bassey, the £19 million signing from Ajax, can also play out wide but has spent much of the last 18 months – at Rangers and in the Eredivisie – in the centre of defence instead.
Fulham also completed the signing of the equally versatile Timothy Castagne on Tuesday. The Belgium international joins from relegated Leicester City for £13 million.
“He was one of my first targets since the beginning and when we started to plan for this season,” Fulham coach Marco Silva told BBC Sport of Castagne after that 2-2 draw at Arsenal.

“We have Kenny (Tete) and Robinson who we are really happy with. But we need a right-back and we can get one with the quality of Timothy, with his experience and versatility at left-back also.
“He’s a player who will give us very good solutions in terms of position. He’s a very good player who I believe will be a great addition for us.”
