Gabby Agbonlahor has stated on Twitter that he wants Sky Sports to offer Aston Villa the ‘same energy’ they offer Leeds United in an apparent jibe at both.

This is the first time in 15 years that Leeds have been promoted, so there has been a lot of noise around Yorkshire and their return to the big time.

Added with that, they have also started the season in a pretty strong fashion, whilst Villa have won their opening two league games, as Agbonlahor sent this twitter message last night.

The former Premier League striker seemingly isn’t happy that a positive spin isn’t put on his boyhood club when they are playing in front of the Sky cameras.

Villa have won every game so far in all competitions and it has been quite a turnaround from the team that survived relegation at the death during the previous campaign.

On the other hand, even though Marcelo Bielsa’s side lost their opening game against Liverpool, a lot of people were excited with what they saw from the Whites because of how they took the game to Jurgen Klopp’s men.

At the end of the day, the players can only do the talking on the pitch and if Villa continue in their ways, along with Leeds, then at some point they won’t be ignored.

The last time Leeds & Villa played in front of the cameras, it was one of the most dramatic games played in the second-tier.

Bielsa allowed the opposition to score after the drama surrounding Klich’s goal, which also saw Anwar El Ghazi being sent off before that decision was reversed on appeal.

They are set to re-unite later on this month.
