Gabby Agbonlahor was on the wind-up once again on Monday night as Leeds United were falling to a defeat at the London Stadium.

With Marcelo Bielsa’s side 2-0 down inside half an hour, Agbonlahor posted an Instagram message reacting to the game.

The former Aston Villa striker posted a small clip to his followers on his Instagram story that showed him watching the game twice – on his TV and laptop – with the caption ‘Got it on twice so I know it’s real’.

That message was posted just before the half-time break, as Agbonlahor was clearly confident that David Moyes’ Champions League-chasing side were going to see out the game, which they did.

Whilst it was the Hammers who walked away with all three points, just like every other Premier League game, it ensured that it had its own VAR drama.

Just before Lingard put the ball into the back of the net, Tyler Roberts felt that he had opened the scoring, only for VAR to rule his teammate offside.

Leeds United’s official Twitter account did post its displeasure at the decision because it was a big moment in the game.

Nonetheless, for Leeds, it’s about taking the positives and how with a bit more quality in the final third, they would have scored last night and they didn’t have the luck that was required.

Plus, their star man in midfield, Kalvin Phillips, was back in action, so he will be hoping to get Leeds’ train going once again.
