Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has told Football.London that he was pleased to see goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale getting angry against Fulham in the London derby.
The Gunners beat Fulham 3-0 at Craven Cottage in London in the Premier League on Sunday.
It was a very easy win for Arsenal.
The Cottagers, though, did have chances in the second half.
Ramsdale played well between the sticks and kept a clean sheet.
Arsenal have been scoring goals lately, and the £24 million (The Athletic) England international goalkeeper must have been pleased not to concede.
When it was pointed out to Arteta that Ramsdale was ‘getting angry to keep the clean sheet’, the Arsenal boss said that he was actually pleased with it and values players like him “a lot”.
Mikel Arteta on Aaron Ramsdale for Arsenal v Fulham
Arteta said: “A lot. It’s that love for defending that 11 players have to be committed too for 96 minutes.
“I saw that again today. It’s going to be crucial if we want to keep winning games.”

Clean sheets crucial
Arsenal have conceded 25 goals in 27 Premier League matches, same as defending champions and second-placed Manchester City.
Now, look at Newcastle United.
The Magpies have shipped in just 18 goals in 25 Premier League games so far this campaign.
Yes, 25 goals conceded in 27 league games is not a bad record, but it could be better.
Arsenal conceded two goals against Sporting Lisbon, two against Bournemouth and two against Aston Villa in recent matches.
That has to stop.
