Darren Bent has praised reported Liverpool target Jude Bellingham on Twitter for his performance for England against Italy at San Siro in the UEFA Nations League on Friday evening.

The former Tottenham Hotspur striker was impressed by the performance of England international midfielder Bellingham, who has been linked with a move to Liverpool from Borussia Dortmund in the summer of 2023.

The talkSPORT pundit believes that England head coach Gareth Southgate has to include the 19-year-old in his starting lineup at the 2022 World Cup finals in Qatar.

Sky Sports rated the performance of Bellingham, who earns £49,000 per week (SalarySport), for England against Italy as 8 out of 10.

Bellingham did his best to drive England forward, imposed himself in the middle of the park, and went close to scoring himself for Gareth Southgate’s side.

It was a brilliant performance from one of the best young players on the planet.

The Sunday World journalist Kevin Palmer reported on Twitter last week that Liverpool have already made “initial moves” to sign Bellingham next summer, and that the former Birmingham City youngster himself is aware of interest in him from the Merseyside club.
