Arsenal are making the headlines at the moment, with the Gunners having recently won the FA Cup and being reportedly on the verge of signing Willian on a free transfer.

The Gunners’ FA Cup triumph means that they will play in the Europa League next season.

According to a report on ESPN this week, Brazilian star Willian – who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger – has agreed a three-year contract with Arsenal worth £100,000 per week and will switch to the Gunners on a free transfer after leaving London rivals Chelsea.

There’s more good news for Arsenal fans, with Sky Sports and The Telegraph reporting that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang is set to sign a new contract with the club.

The 31-year-old’s current deal at the Gunners runs out at the end of next season, and the Gabon international will reportedly sign a new three-year contract.

Great news for Arsenal fans

Aubameyang is one of the best strikers in the world, and is arguably the best and important player in the current Arsenal team.

The former Borussia Dortmund star reportedly staying at Arsenal next season (and beyond) will enhance their chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League table.
