Glasgow Rangers must look at the option of bringing back Andy Halliday to Ibrox.

Graham Dorrans’ injury blow has come at a bad time for Rangers, with the midfielder undergoing surgery.
Rangers need to think about practical options, and repeated injury concerns regarding Jordan Rossiter and Niko Kranjcar means they cannot be relied upon.
One option which the club must at least consider, is to recall Andy Halliday.

Halliday was ostracised by former boss Pedro Caixinha, and sent on loan to Gabala in Azerbaijan.
He has struggled for minutes at his new club, making only three league appearances since August.

It makes sense to bring Halliday back to Rangers so he can compete for a midfield spot, and add to the 90 appearances he has made for the club.
Halliday may not be the long-term future of the Rangers’ midfield, but with the team a player short, it makes no sense to have him out warming the bench in Azerbaijan when it was a decision made by the club’s former manager.
Murty has healed some of the damage done by Caixinha, and bringing Halliday back would strengthen his options and save the club a transfer window gamble.
