According to the Watford Observer, Watford forward Richarlison is already looking to leave the club this summer amid links to some of the Premier League’s biggest clubs.
The Hornets swooped to land Richarlison over the summer, snapping him up from Fluminense in his native Brazil following a run of 19 goals in 67 games for the Brazilian side.
Richarlison made a stunning start to life in English football, and has five goals and four assists in 23 Premier League games this season, but hasn’t found the net in his last 12 outings in all competitions.
The 20-year-old has still impressed under Marco Silva, and his performances have attracted major interest, with the Watford Observer reporting that he is already planning to move on this summer.
It’s claimed that Richarlison – who earns £20,000-a-week at Watford – is almost certainly moving on this summer, and Premier League rivals will be queuing up for his signature.
Arsenal and Chelsea are understood to be keen, whilst the London Evening Standard recently reported that Tottenham Hotspur are interested, with a potential part-exchange deal involving Georges-Kevin Nkoudou or Josh Onomah in the pipeline.
All three clubs may now be handed a boost by the claims that Richarlison is already planning his Watford exit, though clubs will now be fascinated to track his form in the second half of the season before making a move.
Watford will expect a hefty profit on the £11.5million they spent on Richarlison, and if his form doesn’t pick back up again, then those Premier League clubs may back away from targeting the Brazilian.
