It may not be too long before Glasgow Rangers talent Dapo Mebude gets a first team chance at Ibrox if Pedro Caixinha is paying attention.

Billy who? Rangers may have lost their top young talent earlier this year but their academy continues to produce potential gems.
Potentially the most exciting player in their system at present is 16-year-old striker Dapo Mebude, who signed a contract with the club earlier this year.

Mebude is coming off the most successful month of his short career so far to date, scoring for fun for Rangers’ under-17 side.
He scored once and provided an assist at the weekend in a 2-0 victory over Aberdeen.
Mebude has been keeping Rangers fans up to date with his scoring exploits, including a five goal tally earlier in the month.
Mebude’s emergence is good news for Scotland too, he has recently feature for the country’s under-17 side.
He will have to step up to the under-20s and prove himself there before earning a first team chance, but if he can do that then Pedro Caixinha could well decide to hand him a call-up.
Mebude has so far done everything which has been asked of him, and fans should keep hoping that he can build on his early promise.
