Leeds United will reportedly miss out on the signing of Chelsea midfielder Conor Gallagher to Crystal Palace.
The Daily Mail reported this month of interest from Leeds in signing Gallagher from Chelsea in the summer transfer window.
The Whites will play in the Premier League next season after winning automatic promotion from the Championship.
The report claimed that the West Yorkshire outfit made an enquiry about the 20-year-old midfielder.
However, it seems that Leeds will miss out on the England Under-21 international to London club Palace.
Football.London has reported this morning that Gallagher will join Palace on loan for the 2020-21 campaign.
The report has claimed that the youngster underwent a medical with the Eagles on Sunday.
Stats
Gallagher spent the first half of last season on loan at Charlton Athletic and the second half on loan at Swansea City from Chelsea.
According to WhoScored, the 20-year-old made 25 starts and one substitute appearance in the Championship for the Addicks, scoring six goals and providing two assists in the process.
The young midfielder provided six assists in 21 Championship matches for the Swans, according to WhoScored.
Gallagher is a very good and promising young midfielder who will flourish in the Premier League, and it seems that he will now develop at Palace instead of at Leeds.
