Kamil Grosicki is hoping to escape his West Bromwich Albion purgatory this month despite rejecting a transfer to Nottingham Forest, as reported by the Express and Star.
If he could turn back the clock, you have to wonder whether Grosicki would make a different decision when the two-time European champions came calling, once again, for a long-time transfer target.
After narrowly missing out on the Poland international last summer, Nottingham Forest made a new approach for the seldom-seen West Brom winger in January.
But, as Baggies boss Sam Allardyce told the Birmingham Mail a few weeks ago, Grosicki ‘refused’ Forest’s offer.
Now, while Chris Hughton’s side are moving up the table after a run of three wins in five Championship games, Grosicki is out-of-favour and out-of-sight.
The former Hull City talisman has been left out of the matchday squad for each of West Brom’s last four Premier League games.

With the European Championships looming on the horizon, Grosicki is facing up to the prospect of losing his seat on the plane, unless he can secure a move back to his native Poland before the Ekstraklasa window closes on February 24.
According to Gol24, Grosicki will have to take a substantial cut on his £30,000-a-week wages if he wants to join Legia Warsaw.
Yet you would think representing his country in the Euros matters more than money.
