Jordan Gibson is moving on after departing Rangers, and featured for Bradford last night.

Young striker Jordan Gibson is bidding to earn a contract at Bradford City.

Gibson was one of Mark Warburton’s first signings at Glasgow Rangers, snapping up the young talent from non-league football.

He joined Rangers’ under-20 squad and did not quite make the first team during his two-year spell in Glasgow.

Gibson’s two-year contract came to an end last month and he has now moved back to England to relaunch his career.

He featured as a trialist for League One club Bradford City last night in a 3-0 away friendly win over non-league side Eccleshill.

Gibson created one goal and hit the crossbar, and commented on Twitter after the game.

The youngster will hope he has done enough to earn a short contract, or at least a second look.

He is just 19 and is looking to establish himself and start playing competitive football.

On a free transfer he might just be worth taking a chance on and his performance last night did his prospects no harm at all.
