Celtic are 25 points clear at the top of the league, after Rangers lost again.
Celtic’s unstoppable charge at the top of the SPL continued last night as they edged to a win over third placed Aberdeen.
Their night was made even better by second placed Rangers getting hammered away to Hearts, losing 4-1.

This put Celtic a staggering 25 points clear at the top of the league, setting up the final few months of the season as nothing more than a procession towards the title.

Pundit Craig Burley had some harsh words to say about Celtic’s challengers, branding them as ’embarrassingly inept’.
Celtic are doing their part better than they could have imagined, having strengthened in the summer expecting more of a challenge from Rangers upon their first season in the top flight since liquidation.
Rangers are in second place on 42 points with Aberdeen on 40, while Celtic have a staggering 67, with 22 wins from 23 games, the exception being a solitary draw.

Rangers and Aberdeen’s own form is concerning enough, but Celtic’s relentless record only highlights their failings.
The gap could grow further between now and the end of the season, and highlight the chasm in quality between Celtic and teams who are simply also-rans by comparison.
