Everton must make Bertrand Traore their top target after missing out on him last summer.

Everton showed an interest in Chelsea talent Bertrand Traore last summer only to miss out on him to Lyon.
Lyon paid just £8.8 million to sign him after a successful loan spell at Ajax, and he has excelled in Ligue 1.
Talksport reported Everton’s interest in Traore last summer – and it is time the Toffees pay what it takes to bring the forward to Goodison Park.

Traore showed them first hand what he is capable of by scoring against Ronald Koeman’s Everton early in the season in the Europa League, and this was just the start.
He scored 18 goals from the wing in his first season in France, and finished the season with a flourish.
Traore scored six goals in his last six games for Lyon, and there is one game left to play.

The Burkina Faso international is just 22-years-old and he would be an ideal complement to Theo Walcott and Cenk Tosun in attack.
Everton would have to pay at least triple the fee Lyon paid last summer for Traore, but he could be worth the money.
He played alongside Davy Klaassen at Ajax as the Dutch side reached the Europa League final in 2017 and bringing him in could help unlock the disappointing playmaker’s potential.
