Everton decided to loan out Ademola Lookman in the winter window, much to the surprise and frustration of many Evertonians.

In January 2016 it was looking likely that Lookman was on his way to Tottenham. TalkSPORT reported that Spurs were in talks with Charlton Athletic about signing the young talent, who could then be loaned back to the Addicks.
It was reported for some time, with many believing a deal seemed a no-brainer – until he joined Everton instead.
Since being at Goodison Park he has impressed but ultimately not received the playing time he wants, or indeed deserves.
Now he is at Leipzig, with Mitchell in a senior role, Everton fans will no doubt be concerned that they could end up losing one of their top talents for good.
