Erik ten Hag’s Manchester United have reportedly joined Eddie Howe’s Newcastle United in the race for Jean-Clair Todibo.
According to The Daily Mail, Manchester United are back in for Nice central defender Jean-Clair Todibo, a player Newcastle United also want to sign.
Nice-Martin reported last week that Newcastle are interested in Todibo and have made an approach for the defender.
Aston Villa and West Ham United are also reported to be keen on the 23-year-old defender.
Nice-Martin claimed that Nice are willing to sell Todibo for €40-50 million (£34-£43 million).
Manchester United over Newcastle United for Jean-Clair Todibo
In our opinion, Manchester United would have a better of signing Jean-Clair Todibo from Nice in the summer transfer window than Newcastle United would.
We believe that the 23-year-old would fancy a move to Old Trafford over a transfer to St. James’ Park.

After all, Manchester United are arguably the biggest club in England and are a global brand.
The Red Devils will play in the UEFA Champions League next season after finishing in the top four of the Premier League table last campaign.
Under manager Erik ten Hag, the Red Devils will be looking to challenge for the Premier League title in the coming years.
The chance to play for Manchester United could be too good to turn down for Todibo, who is only 23 and has the potential to become a big player in the future.
The former Barcelona defender made 33 starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 for Nice last season.
Todibo made 35 starts and one substitute appearance in Ligue 1 in 2021-22, scoring one goal in the process.
