Liverpool may face paying five-times more for the transfer of reported target Endrick at the end of the season, as AS report Palmeiras are preparing to give the forward a new contract.
Endrick is emerging as one of the hottest properties in Brazilian football with his stunning youth record. The 15-year-old has scored more than 160 goals in almost as many matches, and was recently named Man of the Match in the Copa Sao Paulo de Futebol Junior final.
Multiple clubs in Europe are now tracking his situation in South America ahead of turning 16 on July 21. Endrick will then be able to agree moves, but Palmeiras can also offer him his first professional contract. And in doing so, want to more than quintuple his release clause.

Endrick has a €17m (£14m) break fee in his current contract with Palmeiras. But the Allianz Parque hierarchy are already planning a new deal that would increase the clause to €100m (£83m). The striker agreeing such would create a serious hurdle in Real Madrid’s pursuit.
Los Blancos know Brazilian gems are expensive, but consider £83m to be an ‘unaffordable amount’. They set the limit for deals at the €45m (£37m) paid to Flamengo for Vinicius Jr.
Liverpool contact Endrick agent to express interest in Palmeiras gem’s transfer
Real Madrid are one of Endrick’s many suitors in Europe, and the Palmeiras striker has told Marca he finds it ‘very special’ to be linked with the La Liga and Champions League giants.

Reports by Yahoo Esportes also note Liverpool, Manchester City, United, Barcelona and Real Madrid have contract Endrick’s agent to express their interest in his potential transfer.
Flamengo also used an intermediary to contact his father, who oversees the teen’s career. But the forward’s entourage ruled out him leaving Sao Paulo to join the Rio de Janeiro side.
While Endrick can agree transfers to Real Madrid, Liverpool et al this year, he cannot move to Europe until the Palmeiras product turns 18 in 2024. So, clubs will have time to raise the funds possibly needed to trigger the new release clause once he pens a professional deal.
