Leeds United are allegedly prepared to send the summer signing on loan early next year, but should he be the only one?
According to a recent report from Dutch media outlet Voetball Primeur, Leeds United may be willing to send Mateusz Klich out on loan in January, but who should follow the Polish international out the door in temporary deals?
Leeds manager Thomas Christiansen will not want to be left short i the second half of the campaign but, given the number of players currently at his disposal and the prospect of more arriving in January, it would be no surprise if the Whites allowed a few of their fringe men to move on in pursuit of regular first-team football.
Along with Klich, who has barely featured this season, Pawel Cibicki may be best served heading somewhere else, with his chances at Leeds likely to be few and far between.
The Swede was expected to add more options to Leeds’ forward line and yet he has failed to make a single Championship appearance and that is unlikely to change any time soon.
At 23, Cibicki needs to be playing week in, week out, and a loan move could give him the boost he needs as it did with Marcus Antonsson this season.
Hadi Sacko has at least featured on occasions for Leeds, usually from the bench, but the French winger flatters to deceive and it is hard to see him ever becoming a regular starter in Yorkshire.
As a consequence, Leeds may be wise to send all three players out on loan and hope that at least one of them returns with the bit between their teeth and a point to prove at the end of the campaign.
