The Tottenham Hotspur attacker is currently on loan at Marseille.

With Nabil Bentaleb completing his permanent switch to Schalke earlier this season, Tottenham Hotspur only have one senior player out on loan in the form of Clinton N’Jie, but what chance a first-team reprieve for the Cameroon international?
While some Tottenham fans feel the 23-year-old is simply not cut out for the Premier League, others believe he was not given a fair crack of the whip prior to his temporary switch to Marseille.
It is true he only featured sporadically, with injuries playing their part, but he has slowly rediscovered his form for Marseille, scoring four goals in 19 appearances to date.
The winger has recently been played through the middle for the Ligue 1 and he has look decent in the role, and when you consider Tottenham are not exactly flush with goal-scorers right now – aside from the ever-impressive Harry Kane – surely Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino would be wise to give N’Jie one last chance to impress.
After all, it is not as if he has wasted opportunities time and again, with only eight appearances for Tottenham to date.
When you consider the amount of chances some of Tottenham’s under-performing stars have been granted, it seems N’Jie has been unfairly cast as the scapegoat and he will surely feel disappointed to have been cast aside so swiftly.
Not every footballer can hit the ground running and wingers are especially prone to flit between brilliance and ineffectiveness.
With no major international tournament this summer, N’Jie deserves another pre-season campaign to prove his worth.
After that, if he does not make it at White Hart Lane he will have himself, rather than bad luck, to blame.
