Burnley are reportedly looking to sign Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville as a potential alternative to Sunderland star Jack Clarke.
According to The Sunday Mirror (print edition, page 69, August 6, 2023), Burnley are interested in signing Leeds United winger Crysencio Summerville in the summer transfer window.
The report has claimed that Burnley, who will play in the Premier League this season after winning promotion from the Championship, are considering a bid for Summerville.
Burnley manager Vincent Kompany wants to sign former Leeds and Tottenham Hotspur winger Jack Clarke from Sunderland, but he is “frustrated in his attempts” to get a deal done with the Black Cats.
So, the former Manchester City defender is looking at alternatives and has settled on Summerville.
Leeds are aware that there will be interest in Summerville and are bracing themselves for offers, according to the report.
Leeds United could lose Crysencio Summerville to Burnley
In our opinion, Leeds United could lose Crysencio Summerville to Burnley in the summer transfer window.
Leeds will play in the Championship this season, and it is unlikely that the West Yorkshire outfit will be able to turn down any big offers for any of their players.

Summerville himself could be tempted to move to Burnley.
After all, the Clarets will play in the Premier League this season and there is no guarantee that Leeds will get promoted.
Summerville has been on the books of Leeds since the summer of 2020.
The 21-year-old Netherlands Under-21 international winger has made 34 appearances in the Premier League so far in his career.
The youngster has scored four goals and given two assists in those matches.
