Everton are reportedly pursuing PSG defender Presnel Kimpembe.
Everton may have added six new faces to their first team this summer, but more additions are still expected, with a versatile defender believed to be on Ronald Koeman’s wish list.
Jordan Pickford, Cuco Martina, Michael Keane, Davy Klaassen, Sandro Ramirez and Wayne Rooney have all arrived at Goodison Park this summer, with England international Keane arriving from Burnley.

Keane has been brought in to boost Everton’s defence, but with Phil Jagielka and Ashley Williams both over the age of 30 and Ramiro Funes Mori still out injured, another centre back could be targeted.
Add in that Leighton Baines endured injuries last season and Brendan Galloway loaned out to Sunderland, and Koeman may well want to bring in a centre back who can also play at left back when needed.
As a result, RMC Sport report that Everton want to sign Paris Saint-Germain talent Presnel Kimpembe, and whilst PSG are adamant that he won’t be leaving, the Toffees should continue to pursue his signature.
Kimpembe, 21, has come up through the ranks with PSG, and really flourished last season with 28 first-team appearances, even impressing in the Champions League in the home leg win over Barcelona.
The young defender – a left footed centre back who can also play at left back if needed – fits the bill for Everton, and Kimpembe would represent a major coup for Everton if they can convince the reluctant PSG into a deal.

Not only has Kimpembe already impressed for the PSG first team, but he has huge potential to become a star of the future, possessing pace, a strong reading of the game and ability on the ball.
Everton’s ambition has already been on show this summer, and securing a deal for Kimpembe would be yet another sign of the Toffees’ growing muscle in the transfer market, and they should press ahead with their attempts to convince PSG into selling.
