Javi Gracia is the new manager of Leeds United, and, as with any new arrival, it is exciting to ponder the moves that the new gaffer will make at his new club.

Of course, first and foremost, Leeds need to focus on securing their Premier League status this season, but if they do manage to stay up, Gracia could help the Whites secure a signing that could help form a perfect midfield trio at Elland Road.

Indeed, during Gracia’s time at Valencia he was key in helping develop an exciting young player by the name of Yunus Musah.

As many will remember during the World Cup, Musah, alongside Leeds’ Tyler Adams and Weston McKennie, formed what was genuinely one of the best midfield tridents we saw in Qatar.

A perfect blend of tenacity, skill, energy and strength, these three worked together in perfect tandem, and, excitingly, Leeds already have two-thirds of this trifecta.

The prospect of Yunus Musah, Tyler Adams, and Weston McKennie lining up together in midfield for Leeds United is an exciting one, and while it may seem like a pipe dream, Gracia’s presence at Elland Road could help make it a reality.

Indeed, Gracia was the one who helped Musah become the player he is today, and that level of trust has to count for something as clubs engage in the race to land the young American.

Factor in that Musah would relish the chance to play alongside Adams and McKennie at club level, and you have to believe that Leeds have a real chance of making this signing happen.

These three were absolutely unreal at the World Cup, and the idea of them bringing their combined talents to the Premier League is a mouth-watering prospect to say the least.
