Don Hutchison has posted on Twitter that if Liverpool winger Mo Salah leaves, then he should be sold for more than ‘£80 million’ after Chelsea paid ‘£115 million’ for Enzo Fernandez on transfer deadline day.
That was a British record transfer for the Argentina World Cup winner, but whilst Chelsea were the talk of the transfer town during the past two windows, are Liverpool going to take over in the summer?
This comes after rumours suggest that PSG are keen on signing Mo Salah, but most importantly, the Reds could be open to selling, as posted by Jose Enrique on Twitter.

After winning a joint Golden Boot with Son Heung-min last season, the duo have fallen off a cliff this term. They have 11 goals between them – Erling Haaland, Harry Kane and Ivan Toney have scored more alone.
Added to that, they have both entered their 30s’, so fans are more prone and happy to let them leave, if that situation were to occur.
But how much would Salah fetch in this crazy, inflated and Premier League tax-ridden transfer market? Well, Hutchison provided his thoughts on Salah.
MO SALAH WORRY
It’s that signing a long-term contract curse hitting a big-name Premier League player again.
Arsenal fans saw it happen to Mesut Ozil and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, whilst Liverpool fans fear it could be their turn to witness it.
When Salah hangs up his boots, he will go down as an Anfield legend and could possibly argue that he gets into their all-time XI.
But, at this moment in time, they should stick with him, refresh the squad and midfield in the summer, and then watch him get back to his best next season.
