Wolverhampton Wanderers have made an approach for Juventus defender Radu Dragusin with the highly-rated Romanian yet to sign a new contract with the Serie A giants, as reported by DigiSport.
Douglas Costa might have been linked with a move to Molineux on numerous occasions in recent times – including just a few weeks ago. But the Brazil international winger is seemingly not the only member of Andrea Pirlo’s squad on Nuno Espirito Santo’s shopping list.
Dragusin is on the verge of a first-team breakthrough at the Allianz Stadium.
After making his Champions League and Serie A debut since Pirlo replaced Maurizio Sarri in Turin, Juventus are desperate to tie the Romania international down to a new long-term deal.
Nothing has been signed just yet, however, and Dragusin’s many suitors are still hoping to halt negotiations in their tracks.
According to DigiSport, Wolves have expressed their interest in the last few years, with Dragusin available on a free from July onwards.

Crystal Palace also held talks with the tough-tackling centre-half recently, according to the Standard, while Newcastle and Tottenham Hotspur have also been linked.
Dragusin, meanwhile, has some doubts about whether staying at Juventus would be the right decision (Gazzetta). With Giorgio Chiellini, Leonardo Bonucci, Merih Demiral and Matthijs de Ligt all ahead of him in the pecking order, you can understand why the Juve youngster would be concerned, even if Pirlo is a big fan of the commanding 19-year-old.
“He’s physically very strong,” Pirlo said in December, adding that Dragusin still has a lot of room for improvement.
“He’s very young and must develop on a technical level, but he will have time to do it, training every day with great champions.”
