The talented young centre-back could benefit from a spell at Ibrox under the tutelage of Rangers boss Mark Warburton.

Today saw Rangers miss out in a bid to bring Domingos Quina to Ibrox from West Ham United on loan.

It was reported by the Mirror that the Scottish side were reportedly informed that Quina is considered a first-team player at West Ham so, in that case, is not up for grabs.

But should Rangers make a move for another West Ham talent.

Reece Oxford is considered one of the best young defensive talents in English football. In December he signed a new deal at the London Stadium, committing his future to the club for the long-term.

But in the short-term he has been struggling for regular first-team football at West Ham and would surely relish the opportunity to play regular football elsewhere.

Rangers could offer him that prospect and West Ham could see their top talent playing regular football and improving as a player in a tough league north of the border.

Mark Warburton is known to work well with young players and Oxford could benefit massively from a spell on loan at Ibrox.

If West Ham don’t want to give Rangers the services of Quina, then perhaps they should be asking for Oxford instead.
