Bologna have now accepted an improved bid from Club Brugge for the transfer of reported Rangers target Andreas Skov Olsen, who is set to travel to Belgium to carry out his medical.
That’s according to TuttoMercatoWEB, who report the Rossoblu gave Olsen the green light to finalise a move on Thursday. He will now meet the Blauw-Zwart for all necessary fitness checks, before thrashing out the final parts of his contract with the Jupiler Pro League side.
There are now ‘no doubts’ regarding Olsen’s move from Serie A to the Jan Breydel Stadium. Club Brugge convinced Bologna to sell the 22-year-old after improving their previous bid on Thursday with the addition of add-ons. All that remains is his medical and pen to hit paper.

Bologna had initially rejected Club Brugge’s outright offer of €6m (£5m), but talks remained ongoing, TMW report. The promise of future bonuses has now ironed out any cracks in the discussions. The Blauw-Zwart had an ardent wish to sign the Danish winger in this window.
Club Brugge dash Rangers’ hope of Olsen transfer from Bologna
Bologna accepting Club Brugge’s improved bid will also dash Rangers’ hope of a transfer for Olsen in January. Il Resto del Carlino reported at the start of the month that the Gers made their own €6m (£5m) offer. But with a lot of rival interest, the bid proved insufficient.

Seemingly, the Ibrox natives refused to stretch their budget much further to add the 15-cap forward. But the add-ons Club Brugge offered Bologna to beat Rangers to Olsen’s transfer are undisclosed. So, the Belgian outfit may have priced the Premiership giants out of a deal.
Olsen has attracted suitors from around Europe after offering two assists over his 18 Serie A appearances this season. The winger’s outings only total 738-minutes, however, having started just six games. He has six goals and five assists in 15 international outings, though.
