Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers have reportedly been rebuffed for Kyle Lafferty.

Rangers are developing a bit of a reputation for the ridiculous bid.
This time last year, Rangers were linked with Jamie Walker but Pedro Caixinha refused to meet Hearts’ asking price for the Scottish winger.
In January, the Gers had a £350,000 bid for Jordan Jones thrown out after Kilmarnock boss Steve Clarke said it was ‘nowhere near acceptable’ [BBC Sport].
And now the Ibrox side have seen a questionable offer for Kyle Lafferty turned down by the Jambos, according to STV.
But at £200,000, what did Rangers expect?
Lafferty might be 30 years old and perhaps past his best, but this is still a player who scored 19 goals in 36 starts for the Tynecastle side in all competitions last season, which means that this is also a player who is worth far more to Craig Levein than a meagre £200,000.
The Northern Ireland international, who spent four years at Rangers and left in acrimonious circumstances in 2012, is potentially lethal on his day and even those on the blue side of Glasgow must have known that their opening offer wouldn’t have been entertained.
There is nothing wrong with trying to sign a bargain, but there is also such a thing as respect and attempting to lure Lafferty away from Edinburgh for that amount didn’t show much of it from the Gers.
