Leeds United head coach Marcelo Bielsa has told Leeds Live that defenders Liam Cooper and Diego Llorente are recovering from their respective injuries.
Cooper is the Leeds captain and is a key player for the Premier League club, while Llorente joined from Real Sociedad in the summer of 2020 and has yet to make an impact, having played just 81 minutes in the league so far this season, according to WhoScored.
Both the centre-backs missed the Whites’ Premier League game against Tottenham Hotspur at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
After the 3-0 defeat for Leeds, head coach Bielsa said that both Cooper and Llorente are recovering.
Bielsa told Leeds Live when asked about Cooper and Llorente: “They are both recovering.”

Positive for Leeds United fans
Leeds have conceded as many as 33 goals in 17 Premier League matches so far this season, and it is clear that they need to improve defensively.
Cooper and Llorente are very experienced defenders, with the former having been an important figure in the team for a number of years and the latter a Spain international.
Leeds, who won automatic promotion from the Championship at the end of last season, are 12th in the Premier League table at the moment with 23 points from 17 matches.
