AFC Wimbledon fans hope to sign Sheffield United’s George Long permanently after his loan spell at the League One side.

The Sheffield United academy product has played 42 times for the Dons this season, keeping 10 clean sheets.

And with his Blades deal expiring this summer, according to Transfermarkt, he could be up for grabs.

Sheffield United currently have Jamal Blackman and Simon Moore vying to be first choice at Bramall Lane, although the former is due back at his parent club – Chelsea – at the end of the campaign.
