Moussa Sissoko failed to make an impact at Tottenham Hotspur last season.

Moussa Sissoko endured a disappointing debut campaign for Tottenham Hotspur in 2016-17. The France international failed to make an impact at White Hart Lane, as Tottenham finished second in the Premier League table.
According to BBC Sport, Tottenham paid Newcastle United £30 million in order to secure the services of the Frenchman in the summer of 2016.
The 27-year-old midfielder was able to make only eight starts for Spurs last season, with a further 17 appearances coming as a substitute.

One should not be surprised if the North London outfit decide to part company with Sissoko in the summer transfer window.
After all, given his lack of impact at White Hart Lane last season, it is clear that Tottenham will succeed without the former Toulouse man in 2017-18.
Sissoko’s adviser, Badr Slassi, has commented on Sissoko’s future and has been quoted as saying by Football.London: “The Euro blew it up and his transfer was difficult because he was late, he arrived in Tottenham when the preparation was over and the Championship had started [three days before].
“He quickly found himself in a position where he did not play, which he is not used to. It was not a problem of [choice of] club, it just got tired.”
“He is not in emotional conflict with his coaches, anyway, only in the professional way,” added Slassi about Sissoko. “Never will you hear him complain.
“But he is a force of nature, and it makes him feel like s***, to say the words, not to be able to express himself: he loves the club, the supporters, the infrastructure. he therefore experienced this as a frustration in Tottenham.”
It seems that Sissoko loves Tottenham and the club’s fans, and perhaps the Premier League outfit should give the Frenchman another chance.
The France international is inconsistent, but he is talented and quality; Sissoko could be a good squad player for Tottenham, who will be aiming to win the Premier League title next season as well as progress to the knockout rounds of the Champions League.
