Ezgjan Alioski has impressed at Leeds since his move from Swiss side FC Lugano.

Ezgjan Alioski has turned out to be one of Leeds United’s better summer signings this season as he continues to be one of the first names on Paul Heckingbottom’s team sheet, following his move from Swiss side FC Lugano.
Six goals and six assists is not a bad return for the Macedonia international’s first season in English football, after he scored an impressive 17 goals in 36 for Lugano last season.
So should Leeds regret overlooking a permanent deal for Brazilian playmaker Adryan at the end of the 2014-15 season?

The 23-year-old gave a Leeds side devoid of flair and creativity a bit of attacking intelligence when he moved on loan to Elland Road from Flamengo in the summer of 2014.
Now, Adryan is also plying his trade in Swiss football with Sion, where he has a similar Swiss Super League goalscoring rate to Alioski of just under one goal every two games. He has found the back of the net six times in 14 games.
The Brazil Under-20 international was hardly given a fair whack at Elland Road, making just 13 appearances in all competitions in which he laid on two assists.

But with Alioski performing well for Leeds, surely a player with a similar rate in the final third such as Adryan should have been snapped up by the Yorkshire giants? Instead, they let him slip through the net.
The Whites should regret not giving the Brazilian a proper chance to shine – and indeed not offering him a permanent deal – as he matches the kind of quality Alioski provides.
