The former Leeds United playmaker has been on loan at the French club.

When Leeds United snapped up Brazilian talent Adryan from Flamengo on a season long loan deal in August 2014 fans were rightly excited.
The Brazilian was once considered a wonderkid and had previously been linked with some of European football’s biggest clubs.

However, prior to the Elland Road switch, his career had stalled during a loan spell at Cagliari and his time at Leeds was unsuccessful. He played just 13 times for Leeds and failed to score.
His final appearance for the club came against Watford in February 2015 and he will be remembered mostly for a now infamous dive against Derby County in November 2014.

Last summer he headed to France, again on loan from Flamengo, and after initially struggling has come to thrive in French football.
Now it is being heavily reported in Brazil that Adryan is finally set to make a lasting switch to European football by completing a permanent switch to Nantes.
Extra Globo in Brazil report that Nantes are set to sign Adryan from Flamengo for a fee in the region of R$ 15 million (£2.85m).

Leeds fans might always wonder what might have been with this talented playmaker, who has seemingly found his feet in the French top-flight.
So it’ll be interesting to see how he does should this deal come to fruition.
