Liverpool are reported to be trying to sign Adrien Rabiot.

Rabiot is into the final year of his contract at Paris Saint-Germain and is yet to sign a new deal.
Liverpool have a lot going for them when it comes to winning the race for Rabiot.
They have a team built for success, reaching the Champions League final last season, and already boast several high profile names and a universally popular and charismatic manager.
Also in their favour is Liverpool signing Fabinho earlier this summer, with the Reds paying £43.7 million to Monaco.
Rabiot is on record pleading with Paris Saint-Germain to sign Fabinho a year earlier.

He is quoted by But Football Club stating, when asked about Fabinho: “It is important, in my opinion, to recruit a player who can succeed Thiago Motta. For this season, since Thiago, who turned 35, will not be able to play sixty matches this year. But also for the future.”
PSG did not manage to sign Fabinho from Monaco, striking a deal to sign Kylian Mbappe with them instead.
It worked in Liverpool’s favour, and if he signs for the Reds next summer then he will have his chance to play alongside the Brazilian.
